وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ:
حَصَى الْجِمَارِ مَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ رُفِعَ، وَمَا رُدَّ تُرِكَ، وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ كَانَ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ شِبْرٍ
Translation

✧ For the pebbles of the jamarat, whatever is accepted from them is raised up, and whatever is rejected is left. Were it not for that, it would be taller than a span.
