الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ، ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ: « إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَخَلْفَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ أَعْمَى فَوَطِئَ عَلَى خَصَفَةٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ بِئْرٍ فَتَرَدَّى فِي الْبِئْرِ، فَضَحِكَ الْقَوْمُ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ ضَحِكَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ الْوُضُوءَ

Translation

✧ He was praying with his companions behind him, and a blind man came and stepped on a mat covering the head of a well, and he fell into the well. The people laughed, so the Messenger of God ﷺ ordered those who laughed to repeat the ablution.
