✧ The Answering of Supplication at the Time of Breaking the Fast and What the Fasting Person Says When He Breaks His Fast

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُلَيْكِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

لِلصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ إِفْطَارِهِ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ، فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ؓ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ دَعَا أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ وَدَعَا

Translation

✧ The fasting person has at the time of breaking his fast a supplication that is answered. Whenever 'Abdullah b. 'Amr ؓ broke his fast, he would call his family and children and supplicate.
