✧ While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at al-Abtah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up cheerfully and went toward the graveyard. He sat by one of the graves, then he sat with us looking sorrowful. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you left us a while ago cheerful, and you have returned sorrowful?' He ﷺ said: 'I asked my Lord for permission to visit my mother's grave, and He permitted me—or he said: He gave me a dispensation—so I went to intercede for her, but I was prevented.'
