machine translationIt is narrated by Saʿīd b. Abī Saʿīd al-Maqburī, and there is disagreement about it from him. Ibn Abī Dhiʾb narrated it from al-Maqburī, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Abū Hurayrah. ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd b. Jaʿfar differed from him and narrated it from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, and did not mention anyone between them. Layth b. Saʿd differed from him and narrated it from al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet ﷺ. The statements of al-Layth and Ibn Abī Dhiʾb are both preserved (maḥfūẓ). ʿAbdullāh al-ʿUmarī also narrated it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Isḥāq al-Farwī said, from al-ʿUmarī, from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, while ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAbdullāh al-Uwaysī said from him, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. All of them traced it back (asnadūhu) to the Prophet. Hammām said, from Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah, not raised to the Prophet (ghayr marfūʿ).
