"I used to bleed continuously and heavily. I went to the Prophet asking him for advice and telling him (about my situation). I found him with my sister Zainab and said: 'o Messenger of Allah! I need to ask you something.' He said: 'What is it?' I said: 'I bleed continuously and heavily, and that is keeping me from prayer and fasting. What do you command me to do about it?' He said: 'I advise you to use a piece of cotton, for that will take away the blood.' I said: 'It is more than that.'" And he mentioned something like the Hadith of Sharik (below).

In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.
machine translationIt is not authentic in their view from any angle, because it is from the narration of Ibn ʿAqīl, and they have unanimously agreed to abandon his hadith.
machine translationʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿAqīl narrates it, and there is disagreement about what he transmitted. Abū Ayyūb al-Afrīqī, ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAlī, narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿAqīl from Jābir, and he erred in it. He was contradicted by ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAmr, Sharīk, Ibn Jurayj, ʿAmr b. Thābit, Zuhayr b. Muḥammad and Ibrāhīm b. Abī Yaḥyā, who narrated it from Ibn ʿAqīl from Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. Ṭalḥah from his uncle ʿImrān b. Ṭalḥah from his mother Ḥamnah bint Jaḥsh, and this is the correct version.

machine translationSome scholars abandoned relying on it as evidence, because its narrator, Ibn ʿAqīl, is not that reliable.
in سنن ابن ماجه, p. 664 - Abū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Bayhaqī
machine translationIbn ʿAqīl was alone in narrating it, and there is disagreement about relying on him as evidence.
in سنن ابن ماجه, p. 664 - Ibn Ḥazm
machine translationHe rejected it on several grounds. The first is the break in the chain between Ibn Jurayj and Ibn ʿAqīl; he claimed that Ibn Jurayj did not hear it from Ibn ʿAqīl, and that between them in it is al-Nuʿmān b. Rāshid, and he mentioned it with his chain and declared this al-Nuʿmān weak. The second is that Sharīk and Zuhayr b. Muḥammad narrated it from Ibn ʿAqīl, and both are weak. The third is that ʿUmar b. Ṭalḥah was never created, and no son of Ṭalḥah named ʿUmar is known.
