"Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who bleeds continuously and never becomes pure, should I give up the prayer?' He said: 'No, rather that is a vein and it is not menstruation. When the time of your period comes, leave off the prayer, and when it is over, take a bath and wash the blood from yourself and perform the prayer." This is the Hadith of Waki'.

What scholars said about it
In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.
- Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr
لم يذكر فيه هشام بن عروة من رواية مالك وغيره القرء وهشام أحفظ من الذي خالفه في ذلك
machine translationHishām b. ʿUrwah, in the narration of Mālik and others, did not mention the menstrual period (qarʾ) in it, and Hishām is a better memorizer than the one who differed from him in that.
machine translationHishām b. ʿUrwah narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Al-Awzāʿī narrated it from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Anṣārī, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, from Fāṭimah bint Qays, and he erred in it. The correct report is from Hishām, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, that Fāṭimah bint Abī Ḥubaysh […]
in سنن ابن ماجه, p. 663 - Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Sharaf al-Nawawī
أسقطها مسلم لأنها مما انفرد به حماد
machine translationMuslim omitted it because it is among the narrations that Ḥammād was alone in reporting.
