✧ The Prophet ﷺ took him as a rider behind him when he departed from Arafah. He departed calmly and said: 'O people, you must be calm, for righteousness is not in urging horses and camels.' He said: I did not see his she-camel raise her hand until he reached Jam'. Then he took al-Fadl as a rider behind him and commanded the people to be calm. He departed with calmness and said: 'Righteousness is not in urging horses and camels.' I did not see his she-camel raise her hand until he reached Mina.
