✧ The collective chapters of the charity of the breaking of the fast in Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمِنْقَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ الْكُوفِيِّ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، أَنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُمْ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ الصُّعَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ خَطِيبًا، فَأَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ صَاعَ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعَ شَعِيرٍ، عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ، أَوْ عَنْ كُلِّ رَأْسٍ، عَنِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ، وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood as a preacher and commanded the charity of the breaking of the fast: a Sa' of dates or a Sa' of barley for every one, or for every head, for the young and the old, the free and the slave.
