✧ The collective chapters of the charity of the breaking of the fast in Ramadan

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَوْذَبٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ:

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَرَضَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الْحُرِّ، وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى، وَالصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ made obligatory the charity of the breaking of the fast upon the free, the slave, the male, the female, the young, and the old among the Muslims: a Sa' of barley, or a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of raisins, or a Sa' of dried yoghurt.
