حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مُصَدِّقُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخَذَ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِنَا، فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فُقَرَائِنَا، وَكُنْتُ غُلَامًا يَتِيمًا فَأَعْطَانِي مِنْهُ قَلُوصًا

✧ The Prophet's ﷺ charity collector came to us, took the charity from our rich, and distributed it among our poor. I was an orphan boy, and he gave me a young she-camel from it.

    إن ثبت الخبر فإن في النفس من أشعث بن سوار وإن لم يثبت هذا الخبر فالقرآن كاف في نقل الخبر الخاص فيه
