✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Najran. The people of Najran said to me, “Do you not recite this verse: ‘O sister of Harun, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste’? And you know how long the time was between Musa and Isa?” I did not know what to answer them until I came to Madinah to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned that to him. He said to me, “Why did you not tell them that they used to be named after the prophets and righteous people who came before them?”
