✧ “The Children of Israel were governed by prophets; whenever a prophet died, another prophet arose. There is no prophet after me.” They said, “What will there be after you?” He said, “Rulers, and they will be many.” They said, “What do you command us, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Fulfill the pledge of allegiance to the first, then the first, and give them their due, for Allah will ask them about what is due to you.”
