✧ The Isolation

أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ فقَالَ «رَجُلٌ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِمَالِهِ وَنَفْسِهِ» قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ «مُؤْمِنٌ فِي شِعْبٍ الشِّعَابِ يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ وَيَدَعُ النَّاسَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, which deeds are most excellent? He said: “A man who strives in the cause of Allah with his wealth and his self.” He said: Then who? He said: “A believer in a mountain pass among the mountain passes who worships Allah and leaves people safe from his evil.”
