✧ We went on a campaign with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the expedition of Tabuk, and the mounts suffered severe hardship. They complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the hardship of their mounts. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ waited for them at a narrow pass where the people marched, saying: 'Pass in the name of Allah.' He began to blow on their backs, saying: 'O Allah, carry them in Your way, for You carry on the strong and the weak, the moist and the dry, on land and at sea.'" Fadalah said: "When we reached Madinah, their reins began to pull us, so I said: 'This is the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concerning the strong and the weak, but what about the moist and the dry?' When we reached Syria, we fought the campaign of Cyprus, and I saw the ships and what they carried, and I knew the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
