✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage. Among us were those who entered ihram for Hajj and those who entered ihram for 'umrah and drove a sacrificial animal. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever entered ihram for 'umrah and did not drive a sacrificial animal should exit ihram, and whoever entered ihram for 'umrah and drove a sacrificial animal should not exit ihram, and whoever entered ihram for Hajj should complete his Hajj." 'A'ishah said, "And I was among those who entered ihram for 'umrah."

machine translationSomeone else claimed that this is a mistake on the part of ʿUrwah, and that the correct version is the narration of al-Aswad, al-Qāsim and ʿAmrah from her, that she entered the state of iḥrām for Ḥajj alone (ifrād).
