أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَأَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ أَكُنْ سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ قَدْ سَاقَ هَدْيًا فَلْيُهِلَّ بِحَجٍّ مَعَ عُمْرَتِهِ ثُمَّ لَا يَحِلَّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا» قَالَتْ فَحِضْتُ لَيْلَةَ عَرَفَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ فِي حَجَّتِي قَالَ «امْتَشِطِي وَدَعِي الْعُمْرَةَ وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ» قَالَتْ فَحَجَجْتُ فَبَعَثَ مَعِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَأَعْمَرَنِي مَكَانَ عُمْرَتِي الَّتِي تَرَكْتُهَا

✧ We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage. I entered ihram for 'umrah and had not driven a sacrificial animal. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever of you has driven a sacrificial animal should enter ihram for Hajj along with his 'umrah, then not exit ihram until he exits from both of them together." She ('A'ishah) said, "Then I menstruated on the night of 'Arafah, so I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how should I proceed with my Hajj?' He said, 'Comb your hair, leave the 'umrah, and enter ihram for Hajj.'" She said, "So I performed Hajj, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakr with me, and he made me perform 'umrah in place of the 'umrah I had left."
