✧ "We used to carry loads on our backs, and a man would bring something and give it in charity. A man came with half a sa', and someone came with a lot. They said, 'Allah has no need of this one's charity,' and they said, 'This one is showing off.' Then was revealed: {Those who criticize the voluntary givers among the believers concerning charities and those who find nothing but their effort}."
