Sahih Ibn Hibban 3339

أَخْبَرَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ حِبَّانَ أَبُو جَابِرٍ بِالْمَوْصِلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ الزِّمَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ عَزْرَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي عُذْرَةَ أَعْتَقَ مَمْلُوكًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَبَاعَهُ وَدَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ ثَمَنَهُ وَقَالَ «ابْدَأْ بِنَفْسِكَ فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ عَلَى أَبَوَيْكَ ثُمَّ عَلَى قَرَابَتِكَ ثُمَّ هَكَذَا ثُمَّ هَكَذَا»

✧ A man from Banu 'Udhrah freed a slave of his upon his death. The Prophet ﷺ sent for it, sold it, and handed him its price, and said, "Begin with yourself and give charity to it, then to your parents, then to your relatives, then thus, then thus."
