The Emigrants' Affliction with the Fever of Madinah

Translation

✧ The emigrants' affliction with the fever of Madinah and the Prophet's ﷺ supplication to transfer its plague to al-Juḥfah The Prophet ﷺ arrived in Madinah when it was the most pestilential land of Allah. The Companions suffered affliction from it, and many of them fell ill with fever, such that they could not pray except sitting, and they shivered from the severity of the fever. The Prophet ﷺ supplicated that Allah, Exalted is He, make Madinah beloved to them, just as he ﷺ supplicated that its disease be transferred to al-Juḥfah, and Allah, Exalted is He, answered him.
