Then the year 362 AH began

Translation

✧ In this year, the jurist Abū Bakr al-Rāzī al-Ḥanafī, Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī b. ʿĪsā al-Rummānī, and Ibn al-Daqqāq al-Ḥanbalī gathered before ʿIzz al-Dawlah Bakhtiyār b. Muʿizz al-Dawlah b. Buwayh, and they urged him to raid the Byzantines. So he sent an army to fight them, and God granted him victory over them. They killed a great number of them, and they sent their heads to Baghdad. The people’s hearts were calmed, and to God belongs praise and grace.
