Tarikh (al-Tabari) 3867
Then the Year 323 AH Began
Translation
✧ During this year, Abu Bakr Muhammad b. Yaqut died in prison from a hemorrhage. The judge and witnesses were summoned and presented before him; they did not see any trace of beating or strangulation on him. They pulled his hair, and he was not poisoned. So he was handed over to his family, and they took his money, his properties, his agents, his representatives, and everyone who associated with him.
