مَنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِي سنة اثنتين وثلاثمائة مِنَ الْأَكَابِرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامِ بْنِ عَبْدَوَيْهِ، أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامِ بْنِ عَبْدَوَيْهِ، أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ : سَكَنَ مِصْرَ وَحَدَّثَ بِهَا عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ رَشِيدٍ، وَلُوَيْنٍ وَغَيْرِهِمَا. رَوَى عَنْهُ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَقَالَ: تُوُفِّيَ بِمِصْرَ فِي جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا فَاضِلًا مِنْ خِيَارِ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ مُوسَى الصَّدَفِيِّ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ مُوسَى الصَّدَفِيِّ، يُكَنَّى أَبَا الْحَسَنِ : وُلِدَ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعِينَ وَمِائَتَيْنِ. وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ مِنْ رَجَبِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَكَانَ مِنَ الْبَكَّائِينَ حَدَّثَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَغَيْرِهِ. إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ : سَمِعَ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ وَغَيْرَهُ، رَوَى عَنْهُ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ السَّمَّاكِ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ الْخُطَبِيُّ وَابْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، وَقَالَ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ: هُوَ ثِقَةٌ، وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي مُحَرَّمِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. بِشْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْفَقِيهُ بِشْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْفَقِيهُ: سَكَنَ مِصْرَ وعن أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: بِشْرُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْفَقِيهِ عَلَى مَذْهَبِ الشَّافِعِيِّ، يُعْرَفُ بِغُلَامٍ عَرَقٍ، وَعَرَقٌ خَادِمٌ مِنْ خَدَمِ السُّلْطَانِ كَانَ عَلَى الْبَرِيدِ بِمِصْرَ، وَكَانَ بِشْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَدْ قَدِمَ مَعَهُ فِي جُمْلَةِ مَنْ قَدِمَ مِنْ بَغْدَادَ، وَكَانَ فَقِيهًا [مُتَضَلِّعًا ] دَيِّنًا. تُوُفِّيَ بِمِصْرَ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثِمِائَةٍ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ. بِدْعَةُ جَارِيَةُ عَرِيبٍ مَوْلَاةُ الْمَأْمُونِ بِدْعَةُ جَارِيَةُ عَرِيبٍ مَوْلَاةُ الْمَأْمُونِ: كَانَتْ مُغَنِّيَةً، وَقَدْ كَانَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ بَذَلَ لِمَوْلَاتِهَا فِي ثَمَنِهَا مِائَةَ أَلْفِ دِينَارٍ، وَلِلسَّفِيرِ بَيْنَهُمَا عِشْرُونَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ، فَدَعَتْهَا فَأَخْبَرَتْهَا بِالْحَالِ فَلَمْ تُؤْثِرِ الْبَيْعَ فَأَعْتَقَتْهَا مِنْ وَقْتِهَا، وَمَاتَتْ لِسِتٍّ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْمُهْتَدِي، وَخَلَّفَتْ مَالًا كَثِيرًا وَضِيَاعًا مَا مَلَكَهَا رَجُلٌ [قَطُّ]. حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْكَاتِبُ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْكَاتِبُ: جُرْجَانِيُّ الْأَصْلِ، سَمِعَ مِنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ، رَوَى عَنْهُ الْجَعَّابِيُّ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً. تُوُفِّيَ فِي رَجَبِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَقَدْ قَارَبَ الْمِائَةَ. الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ هَارُونَ، أَبُو عَلِيٍّ [النَّحَّاسُ] النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ هَارُونَ، أَبُو عَلِيٍّ [النَّحَّاسُ] النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ : حَدَّثَ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً صَالِحًا، وَتُوُفِّيَ بِمِصْرَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ بْنِ نَصْرِ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ، أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ السُّكَّرِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ بْنِ نَصْرِ بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ، أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ السُّكَّرِيُّ. سَمِعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيَّ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ جَعْفَرٌ الْخَلَدِيُّ، وَابْنُ مَالِكٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، وَكَانَ صَدُوقًا ثِقَةً، تُوُفِّيَ فِي جُمَادَى الْأُولَى مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَاسِينَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْفَقِيهُ الدُّورِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَاسِينَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْفَقِيهُ الدُّورِيُّ : سَمِعَ مِنْ بُنْدَارٍ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً، وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. مُوسَى بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعُلْوِيُّ مُوسَى بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعُلْوِيُّ: كَتَبَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَسَمِعَ الْكَثِيرَ، وَكَتَبَ عَنْهُ، وَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَالِحًا مُتَوَاضِعًا، يَلْزَمُ الْجَامِعَ، وَتُوُفِّيَ بِمِصْرَ فِي رَمَضَانِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. بِشْرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْأَنْدَلُسِيُّ بِشْرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الْأَنْدَلُسِيُّ: كَانَ فَقِيهًا، ثِقَةً، وَتُوُفِّيَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ السَّنَةَ بِالْأَنْدَلُسِ. وَمِمَّنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْأَعْيَانِ: الْقَاضِي أَبُو زُرْعَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الشَّافِعِيُّ الْقَاضِي أَبُو زُرْعَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الشَّافِعِيُّ. قَاضِي مِصْرَ ثُمَّ دِمَشْقَ وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ حَكَمَ بِمَذْهَبِ الشَّافِعِيِّ بِالشَّامِ، وَأَشَاعَهُ بِهَا، وَقَدْ كَانَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ عَلَى مَذْهَبِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ مِنْ حِينِ مَاتَ إِلَى هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَثَبَتَ عَلَى مَذْهَبِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ بَقَايَا كَثِيرُونَ لَمْ يُفَارِقُوهُ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً عَدْلًا مِنْ سَادَاتِ الْقُضَاةِ، وَكَانَ أَصْلُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ الْيَهُودِ، ثُمَّ أَسَلَمَ، وَصَارَ إِلَى مَا صَارَ إِلَيْهِ. وَفِيهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، وَأَبُو عِيسَى بْنُ الْعَرَّادِ، وَأَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْبَرَّانِيُّ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَصْرِ بْنِ بَسَّامٍ الشَّاعِرُ وَلَهُ نَيِّفٌ وَسَبْعُونَ سَنَةً.

✧ Those of the great ones who died in the year 312 AH Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Salām b. ʿAbdaweh, Abū Bakr al-Baghdādī Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Salām b. ʿAbdaweh, Abū Bakr al-Baghdādī: He resided in Egypt and narrated there from Dāwūd b. Rashīd and Luwayn and others. Abū Saʿīd b. Yūnus narrated from him and said: He died in Egypt in Jumādā al-Ākhirah of this year, and he was a righteous, virtuous man, among the best of God's creation, mighty and glorious. Aḥmad b. Yūnus b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā b. Mūsā al-Ṣadafī Aḥmad b. Yūnus b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlā b. Mūsā al-Ṣadafī, whose kunyah was Abū al-Ḥasan: He was born in Dhū al-Qaʿdah in the year 240. He died on the first day of Rajab of this year, and he was among the weepers. He narrated from his father and others. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm b. Abī Ḥassān, Abū Yaʿqūb al-Anmāṭī Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm b. Abī Ḥassān, Abū Yaʿqūb al-Anmāṭī: He heard Aḥmad b. Abī al-Ḥawārī and others. Abū ʿAmr b. al-Sammāk, Ismāʿīl al-Khuṭabī, and Ibn Miqsam narrated from him, and al-Dāraquṭnī said: He is trustworthy. He died in Muḥarram of this year. Bishr b. Naṣr b. Manṣūr, Abū al-Qāsim the jurist Bishr b. Naṣr b. Manṣūr, Abū al-Qāsim the jurist: He resided in Egypt. Abū Saʿīd b. Yūnus said: Bishr b. Naṣr b. Manṣūr was a jurist according to the school of al-Shāfiʿī, known as Ghulām ʿAraq. ʿAraq was a servant among the servants of the sultan who was in charge of the postal service in Egypt. Bishr b. Naṣr had come with him among those who came from Baghdad, and he was a jurist [fully versed], devout. He died in Egypt in the year 312. I heard from him. Bidʿah, the slave girl of ʿArīb, freedwoman of al-Maʾmūn Bidʿah, the slave girl of ʿArīb, freedwoman of al-Maʾmūn: She was a singer. Isḥāq b. Ayyūb had offered her mistress for her price a hundred thousand dinars, and for the intermediary between them twenty thousand dinars. She called her and told her of the situation, but she did not prefer the sale, so she freed her on the spot. She died with six nights remaining in Dhū al-Ḥijjah of this year, and Abū Bakr b. al-Muhtadī prayed over her. She left behind much wealth and estates such as no man had ever possessed. Ḥamzah b. Muḥammad b. ʿĪsā b. Ḥamzah, Abū ʿAlī the secretary Ḥamzah b. Muḥammad b. ʿĪsā b. Ḥamzah, Abū ʿAlī the secretary: Of Jurjānī origin. He heard from Nuʿaym b. Ḥammād. Al-Jaʿābī narrated from him, and he was trustworthy. He died in Rajab of this year, having approached a hundred. Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Mūsā b. Hārūn, Abū ʿAlī [al-Naḥḥās] al-Naysābūrī al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. Mūsā b. Hārūn, Abū ʿAlī [al-Naḥḥās] al-Naysābūrī: He narrated, and he was trustworthy and righteous. He died in Egypt in this year. ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ṣaqr b. Naṣr b. Mūsā b. Hilāl, Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Sukkarī ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ṣaqr b. Naṣr b. Mūsā b. Hilāl, Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Sukkarī. He heard Ibrāhīm b. al-Mundhir al-Ḥizāmī. Jaʿfar al-Khuladī and Ibn Mālik al-Qaṭīʿī narrated from him, and he was truthful and trustworthy. He died in Jumādā al-Ūlā of this year. ʿAbd Allāh b. Muḥammad b. Yāsīn, Abū al-Ḥasan the jurist al-Dūrī ʿAbd Allāh b. Muḥammad b. Yāsīn, Abū al-Ḥasan the jurist al-Dūrī: He heard from Bundār. Abū Bakr al-Shāfiʿī narrated from him, and he was trustworthy. He died in this year. Mūsā b. al-Qāsim b. Ibrāhīm, Abū al-Ḥasan al-ʿAlawī Mūsā b. al-Qāsim b. Ibrāhīm, Abū al-Ḥasan al-ʿAlawī: He wrote down ḥadīth, heard much, and was written from. He was a righteous, humble man who kept to the mosque. He died in Egypt in Ramaḍān of this year. Bishr b. Ibrāhīm b. Khalaf al-Andalusī Bishr b. Ibrāhīm b. Khalaf al-Andalusī: He was a jurist, trustworthy. He died, may God have mercy on him, this year in al-Andalus. Among the notables who died in it: The judge Abū Zurʿah Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān al-Shāfiʿī The judge Abū Zurʿah Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān al-Shāfiʿī. Judge of Egypt then of Damascus. He was the first to judge according to the school of al-Shāfiʿī in Syria and to spread it there. The people of Syria had been upon the school of al-Awzāʿī from the time of his death until this year, and many remnants remained upon the school of al-Awzāʿī and did not abandon it. He was trustworthy, just, among the leading judges. His origin was from the People of the Book, the Jews. Then he converted to Islam and reached what he reached. In it also died Ibrāhīm b. Sharīk, Abū ʿĪsā b. al-ʿArrād, Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Barrānī, and ʿAlī b. Muḥammad b. Naṣr b. Bassām the poet, who was over seventy years old.
