مَنْ تُوُفِّيَ فِي سنة ثلاث وستين ومائتين مِنَ الْأَكَابِرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْحِيرِيُّ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْحِيرِيُّ . كَانَ مَقْبُولًا عِنْدَ الْقُضَاةِ، وَتُوُفِّيَ بِالْحِيرَةِ فِي صَفَرِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَارِسِيُّ الْبَزَّارُ، وَيُعْرَفُ بِابْنِ الْبُسْتَنْبَانِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَارِسِيُّ الْبَزَّارُ، وَيُعْرَفُ بِابْنِ الْبُسْتَنْبَانِ. سَمِعَ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَابْنَ عُلَيَّةَ، وَدَاوُدَ بْنَ الْمُحَبَّرِ. رَوَى عَنْهُ: الْمَحَامِلِيُّ، وَابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ. قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: هُوَ صَدُوقٌ . وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي رَبِيعٍ الْأَوَّلِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، وَاسْمُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، يَحْيَى بْنُ الْجَعْدِ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، وَاسْمُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، يَحْيَى بْنُ الْجَعْدِ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ. حَدَّثَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ وَيَزِيدَ، وَشَبَّابَةَ، وَالْعَقَدِيِّ، وَغَيْرِهِمْ. رَوَى عَنْهُ: الْبَغْوِيُّ، وَابْنُ صَاعِدٍ، وَالْمَحَامِلِيُّ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ: هُوَ صَدُوقٌ ، وَتُوُفِّيَ بِالْكَرْخِ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ السَّلَامِ فِي جُمَادَى الْأُولَى مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَلَهُ خَمْسٌ وَثَمَانُونَ سَنَةً. طَلْحَةُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ نِزَارِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَبُو الطِّيبِ الْغَسَّانِيُّ الْأُبُلِّيُّ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ نِزَارِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَبُو الطِّيبِ الْغَسَّانِيُّ الْأُبُلِّيُّ. نَزَلَ سُرَّ مَنْ رَأَى، وَحَدَّثَ بِهَا عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَآدَمَ بْنِ [ أَبِي ] إِيَاسٍ. رَوَى عَنْهُ: ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ، وَالْكَوْكَبِيُّ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ صَدُوقٌ . وَتُوُفِّيَ فِي شَعْبَانِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَاقَانَ، وَزِيرُ الْمُعْتَمِدِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَاقَانَ، وَزِيرُ الْمُعْتَمِدِ . صَدَمَهُ فِي الْمَيْدَانِ خَادِمٌ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ: رَشِيقٌ، يَوْمَ الْجُمْعَةِ لِعَشْرٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْقِعْدَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، فَسَقَطَ عَنْ دَابَّتِهِ، فَسَالَ مِنْ مَنْخَرِهِ وَأُذُنِهِ دَمٌ، فَمَاتَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثِ سَاعَاتٍ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ [ أَبُو ] أَحْمَدَ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، وَمَشَى فِي جِنَازَتِهِ. وَذَلِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لِعَشْرٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ، وَاسْتَوْزَرَ مِنَ الْغَدِ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ مَخْلَدٍ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ مُوسَى بْنُ بُغَا سَامَرَّا عَزَلَهُ وَاسْتَوْزَرَ مَكَانَهُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ وَسُلِّمَتْ دَارُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَاقَانَ إِلَى الْأَمِيرِ الْمَعْرُوفِ بِكَيْغَلَغَ. وَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحْوِيُّ، وَيَعْرَفُ: بِوَلَّادٍ وَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّحْوِيُّ، وَيَعْرَفُ: بِوَلَّادٍ . رَوَى عَنِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ، وَغَيْرِهِ. وَكَانَ نَحْوِيًّا مُجَوِّدًا. وَرَوَى كُتُبَ النَّحْوِ وَاللُّغَةِ، [ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً ] . تُوُفِّيَ فِي رَجَبِ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ. مَسَاوِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الشَّارِي الْخَارِجِيُّ مَسَاوِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الشَّارِي الْخَارِجِيُّ ، وَقَدْ كَانَ مِنَ الْأَبْطَالِ الْمَذْكُورِينَ وَالشُّجْعَانِ الْمَشْهُورِينَ، وَالْتَفَّ عَلَيْهِ خَلْقٌ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ وَغَيْرِهِمْ، وَطَالَتْ مُدَّتُهُ حَتَّى قَصَمَهُ اللَّهُ. . وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ . وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ . وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ . ( وَفِيهَا تُوُفِّيَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الطَّائِيُّ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ أَخُو عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، تُوُفِّيَ بِآذِنَةَ مِنْ بَلَدِ الثَّغْرِ ).
Translation
✧ Those of the notables who died in the year 263 AH Aḥmad b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Sālim, Abū Ṭāhir al-Ḥīrī Aḥmad b. ʿAbd Allāh b. Sālim, Abū Ṭāhir al-Ḥīrī. He was well regarded by the judges, and he died at al-Ḥīrah in Ṣafar of this year. Al-Ḥasan b. Saʿīd b. ʿAbd Allāh, Abū Muḥammad al-Fārisī al-Bazzār, known as Ibn al-Bustanbān al-Ḥasan b. Saʿīd b. ʿAbd Allāh, Abū Muḥammad al-Fārisī al-Bazzār, known as Ibn al-Bustanbān. He heard Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah, Ibn ʿUlayyah, and Dāwūd b. al-Muḥabbar. From him narrated: al-Maḥāmilī and Ibn Makhlad. Ibn Abī Ḥātim said: He is truthful. He died in Rabīʿ al-Awwal of this year. Al-Ḥasan b. Abī al-Rabīʿ, whose name is Yaḥyā b. al-Jaʿd b. Nashīṭ al-Ḥasan b. Abī al-Rabīʿ, whose name is Yaḥyā b. al-Jaʿd b. Nashīṭ. He narrated from ʿAbd al-Razzāq, Yazīd, Shabābah, al-ʿAqadī, and others. From him narrated: al-Baghawī, Ibn Ṣāʿid, and al-Maḥāmilī. Ibn Abī Ḥātim said: He is truthful, and he died at al-Karkh in Madīnat al-Salām in Jumādā al-Ūlā of this year, at the age of eighty-five. Ṭalḥah b. Khālid b. Nizār b. al-Mughīrah, Abū al-Ṭayyib al-Ghassānī al-Ubullī Ṭalḥah b. Khālid b. Nizār b. al-Mughīrah, Abū al-Ṭayyib al-Ghassānī al-Ubullī. He settled in Surra man raʾā and narrated there from his father and Ādam b. [Abī] Iyās. From him narrated: Ibn Ṣāʿid and al-Kawkabī, and he is trustworthy and truthful. He died in Shaʿbān of this year. ʿUbayd Allāh b. Yaḥyā b. Khāqān, the vizier of al-Muʿtamid ʿUbayd Allāh b. Yaḥyā b. Khāqān, the vizier of al-Muʿtamid. A servant of his called Rashīq collided with him in the parade ground on Friday, ten days remaining of Dhū al-Qaʿdah of this year, and he fell from his mount, and blood flowed from his nostril and his ear, and he died after three hours. [Abū] Aḥmad b. al-Mutawakkil prayed over him and walked in his funeral procession. That was on Friday, ten days remaining of Dhū al-Qaʿdah of this year, and the next day he appointed al-Ḥasan b. Makhlad as vizier. When Mūsā b. Bughā arrived in Sāmarrā, he dismissed him and appointed in his place Sulaymān b. Wahb, and the house of ʿUbayd Allāh b. Yaḥyā b. Khāqān was handed over to the amir known as Kayghalagh. Walīd b. Muḥammad al-Naḥwī, known as Wallād Walīd b. Muḥammad al-Naḥwī, known as Wallād. He narrated from al-Qaʿnabī and others. He was an excellent grammarian. He transmitted the books of grammar and lexicography, [and he was trustworthy]. He died in Rajab of this year. Masāwir b. ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd al-Shārī al-Khārijī Masāwir b. ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd al-Shārī al-Khārijī, and he had been among the renowned heroes and famous brave men, and a host of Bedouins and others gathered around him, and his affair lasted long until God broke him. . And Aḥmad b. al-Azhar. And al-Ḥasan b. Abī al-Rabīʿ. And Muʿāwiyah b. Ṣāliḥ al-Ashʿarī. (And in it died Aḥmad b. Ḥarb al-Ṭāʾī al-Mawṣilī, the brother of ʿAlī b. Ḥarb; he died at Ādhinah in the frontier region).
