Then the Year 126 AH Began
ذِكْرُ شِيعَةِ بَنِي الْعَبَّاسِ فِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ وَجَّهَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْإِمَامُ أَبَا هَاشِمٍ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ مَاهَانَ إِلَى خُرَاسَانَ، وَبَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِالسِّيرَةِ وَالْوَصِيَّةِ، فَقَدِمَ مَرْوَ وَجَمَعَ النُّقَبَاءَ وَالدُّعَاةَ، فَنَعَى إِلَيْهِمْ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَدَعَاهُمْ إِلَى ابْنِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَدَفَعَ إِلَيْهِمْ كِتَابَهُ، فَقَبِلُوهُ وَدَفَعُوا إِلَيْهِ مَا اجْتَمَعَ عِنْدَهُمْ مِنْ نَفَقَاتِ الشِّيعَةِ، فَقَدِمَ بِهَا بُكَيْرٌ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ.
Translation
✧ Mention of the Shīʿah of Banū al-ʿAbbās In this year, Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad the Imām dispatched Abū Hāshim Bukayr b. Māhān to Khurāsān, and sent with him the sīrah and the waṣiyyah. He arrived in Marw and gathered the nuqabāʾ and the duʿāh, announced to them the death of Muḥammad b. ʿAlī, called them to his son Ibrāhīm, and handed them his letter. They accepted it and gave him what had been collected among them of the contributions of the Shīʿah. Bukayr brought it to Ibrāhīm.
