Chapter mentioning a group of the prophets of the Israelites after Mūsā (peace be upon him)
Translation
✧ The prophethood of al-Yasaʿ ﷺ When Ilyās departed from the Children of Israel, Allah sent al-Yasaʿ. He was an orphan afflicted with harm, and he went to Ilyās, believed in him, and Ilyās prayed to Allah for him, so Allah removed his affliction and granted him wisdom and prophethood. He was sent to the Children of Israel and remained among them for a time, calling them to monotheism and to adhere to the path of Ilyās and his law. He continued in this way until Allah, the Exalted, took him. Then successors arose among them, great events and sins became prevalent, tyrants increased, and they killed the prophets. Among them was a tyrannical, obstinate, and oppressive king, and it is said that he is the one for whom Dhū al-Kifl guaranteed that if he repented and returned, he would enter Paradise; thus he was named Dhū al-Kifl.
