Chapter mentioning a group of the prophets of the Israelites after Mūsā (peace be upon him)
ذَكَرَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مَعَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ، فِي سُورَةِ " الْأَنْعَامِ " فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًا وَكُلًّا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ [ الْأَنْعَامِ: 86 ]. وَقَالَ تَعَالَى فِي سُورَةِ " ص ": وَاذْكُرْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ وَكُلٌّ مِنَ الْأَخْيَارِ [ ص: 48 ].
Translation
✧ Allah Almighty mentioned him with the prophets in Sūrat al-Anʿām in His saying: And Ismāʿīl, and al-Yasaʿ, and Yūnus, and Lūṭ—and each We preferred over the worlds [al-Anʿām: 86]. And He, exalted is He, said in Sūrat Ṣād: And remember Ismāʿīl, and al-Yasaʿ, and Dhā al-Kifl—and each is among the excellent [Ṣād: 48].
