Chapter mentioning the offspring of Abraham (peace and blessings be upon him)
جَعَلَ الله فِي ذُرِّية إبراهيم النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ، فَكُلُّ نَبِيٍّ أُرْسِلَ بَعْدَهُ فَمِنْ وَلَدِهِ. وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ نَبِيًّا بَعْدَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبُعِثَ إِلَى الْعَمَالِيقِ وَجُرْهُمَ وَقَبَائِلِ الْيَمَنِ، فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ عُبَادَةِ الْأَوْثَانِ، فَآمَنَتْ لَهُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ وَكَفَرَ الْأَكْثَرُونَ.
Translation
✧ God placed prophethood and the Book in the offspring of Abraham (peace and blessings be upon him), so every prophet sent after him was from his descendants. God took Ishmael as a prophet after Abraham, and he was sent to the Amalekites, Jurhum, and the tribes of Yemen. He forbade them from worshiping idols, and a group of them believed in him, while the majority disbelieved.
