Translation
✧ The Detachment of Zayd b. Ḥāritha to Dhū Qarad It was in the year three of the Hijra, when the Prophet ﷺ learned after the Battle of Badr that a caravan belonging to Quraysh had set out for Syria taking the route of Iraq, so he sent Zayd b. Ḥāritha with one hundred of his companions. They intercepted it at al-Qarada, seized the caravan, and the notables escaped. They took captive Furāt b. Ḥayyān, and Abū Bakr invited him to Islam and he embraced Islam.
