The Detachment of Zayd b. Ḥāritha to al-Qarada
سَرِيَّةِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ ؓ إِلَى الْقُرَدَةِ فِي أَوَّلِ جُمَادَى الْآخِرَةِ سَنَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ سَرِيَّةٍ خَرَجَ فِيهِ زَيْدٌ أَمِيرًا قَالَ يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ: وَكَانَتْ بَعْدَ وَقْعَةِ بَدْرٍ بِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ.
Translation
✧ The Detachment of Zayd b. Ḥāritha ؓ to al-Qarada in the beginning of Jumādā al-Ākhira in the year three. It was the first detachment in which Zayd went out as commander. Yūnus b. Bukayr said, from Ibn Isḥāq: It was six months after the Battle of Badr.
