✧ People will be gathered at the bridge of Hell, upon it are thorns and hooks. The people will pass, and some of them will pass like lightning, some like a lean horse, some will run, some will walk, some will crawl, and the angels will be on its two sides saying: 'O Allah, grant safety, grant safety,' and the hooks will snatch them. He said: As for its inhabitants who are its rightful inhabitants, they will neither die nor live. And as for some people who are taken for sins and errors, they will burn and become charcoal, then they will be taken in groups, groups, and thrown onto a river of Paradise, and they will sprout as a seed sprouts in the silt of a flood. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Have you seen the ṣabghāʾ (a plant)? Then after that permission is given for them and they enter Paradise.' Abu Sa'id said: One of them will be given the like of the world. He said: And on the ṣirāṭ there are three trees, and the last one to exit the Fire will be on its edge. He will say: 'O Lord, bring me near to this tree so that I may be in its shade and eat from its fruit.' He said: He will say: 'Your covenant and your protection that you will not ask Me for anything else.' He will say: 'My covenant and my protection that I will not ask for anything else.' So he will be moved to it, and he will see another tree better than it, and he will say: 'O Lord, this one I will eat from its fruit and be in its shade.' So he will be moved to it. Then he will see another better than it, and he will say: 'O Lord, this one I will eat from its fruit and be in its shade.' So he will be moved to it. He said: Then he will hear the voices of the people and see their blackness, and he will say: 'O Lord, admit me into Paradise.' Abu Sa'id said: Then after that he mentioned the companions of the Prophet ﷺ; he mentioned it, and one of them said: 'He will be given the like of the world and its like with it.' And another said: 'The like of the world and ten times its like.'
