✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O Allah, let me live as a poor person and let me die as a poor person, and gather me with the group of the poor. Verily, the most miserable of all the miserable ones is the one upon whom the misery of poverty in this world and the torment of the Hereafter are combined."
