✧ A Bedouin came, made his camel kneel, hobbled it, then prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the salām, he went to his camel, untied its hobble, mounted it, and then called out: "O Allah, have mercy on me and Muḥammad, and do not associate anyone in our mercy." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you say he is more astray or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?" They said, "Yes." He said, "He has restricted the mercy of Allah, which is vast. Allah created one hundred mercies and sent down one mercy by which the creatures show compassion—their jinn, their humans, and their beasts—and with Him are ninety-nine mercies."
