✧ I read in the Torah: Ablution before food is the blessing of food. I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: Ablution before food and after food is the blessing of food. Qays b. al-Rabi' is alone in narrating it from Abu Hashim, and his isolated narration, despite his high status, is more than can be omitted in this book.
