أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بُرْدٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحُنَيْنِيُّ ثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ

لَمَّا فَتَحَتْ لِي أُخْتِي قُلْتُ يَا عَدُوَّةَ نَفْسِهَا أَصَبَوْتِ؟ قَالَتْ وَرَفَعَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَتْ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ مَا كُنْتَ صَانِعًا فَاصْنَعْهُ فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَسْلَمْتُ قَالَ فَدَخَلْتُ فَجَلَسْتُ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ فَإِذَا بِصَحِيفَةٍ وَسَطَ الْبَيْتِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّحِيفَةُ هَاهُنَا؟ فَقَالَتْ دَعْنَا عَنْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَنْتَ لَا تَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ وَلَا تَطْهُرُ وَهَذَا لَا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ

✧ When my sister opened the door for me, I said: O enemy of herself, have you apostatized? She said, and he raised something, then she said: O son of al-Khattab, whatever you intended to do, do it, for I have embraced Islam. He said: I entered and sat on the bed, and there was a sheet in the middle of the house. I said: What is this sheet here? She said: Leave it, O son of al-Khattab. You do not perform ghusl from janaba and do not purify yourself, and this is not touched except by the purified.
