حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَافِظُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ كِبَارِ الْأَنْصَارِ الَّذِينَ شَهِدُوا بَدْرًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ «صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ Abu Umamah ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf informed me, and he was one of the prominent Ansar who participated in the Battle of Badr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "It is authentic according to the conditions of the two scholars (referring to Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim), and they did not exclude it." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.
