Notes

machine translation"This is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) ḥadīth meeting the criteria of the two Shaykhs, but they did not narrate it with this wording. They narrated it only up to his words 'let him perform ablution,' and did not mention in it 'for it makes him more energetic to repeat.' This is an expression that Shuʿbah alone transmitted from ʿĀṣim, and such a person's sole transmission is acceptable to both of them." They did not narrate its end.
