✧ Mu'adh b. Jabal was a young man, forbearing, generous, among the best youths of his people. He did not hold on to anything, and he kept borrowing until he drowned all his wealth in debt. His creditors came to the Prophet ﷺ. Had they left anyone for the sake of anyone, they would have left Mu'adh for the sake of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sold his property for them until Mu'adh stood with nothing.
