حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي سَمِينَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ قَالَتْ قَالَ

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَالْحُسَيْنُ فِي حِجْرِهِ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ أَخْبَرَنِي إِنَّ أُمَّتِي تَقْتُلُ الْحُسَيْنَ «قَدِ اخْتَصَرَ ابْنُ أَبِي سَمِينَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَرَوَاهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ بِالتَّمَامِ» حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص لضعفه

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me while Husayn was in his lap: "Jibril ﷺ informed me that my community will kill Husayn." Ibn Abi Samina abridged this hadith, and others narrated it in full from Muhammad b. Mus'ab. Al-Dhahabi omitted it from the Talkhis due to its weakness.
