✧ From some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ: Allah revealed to Moses son of Imran, "I am going to take Aaron, so bring him to such-and-such a mountain." Moses and Aaron set out toward that mountain, and there they found a tree shaped like a built house, and inside it a bed with coverings, and in it a pleasant fragrance. When Aaron looked at that mountain, the house, and what was in it, it pleased him, and he said: "O Moses, I would love to sleep on this bed." Moses said to him: "Then sleep on it." He said: "I fear that the Lord of this house may come and be angry with me." Moses said to him: "Do not be afraid; I will suffice you against the Lord of this house, so sleep." He said: "O Moses, rather sleep with me, for if the Lord of this house comes, He will be angry with both me and you." When they lay down, death took Aaron. When he felt it, he said: "O Moses, you deceived me." When he was taken, that house was lifted, that tree disappeared, and the bed was raised to heaven. When Moses returned to the Children of Israel without Aaron, they said: "Moses killed Aaron out of jealousy for the Children of Israel's love for him." Aaron was more affectionate and gentler to them than Moses, and Moses had some harshness toward them. When that reached him, he said to them: "Woe to you! He was my brother; do you think I would kill him?" When they persisted against him, he stood, prayed two rak'ahs, then called upon Allah, and the bed descended until they saw it between heaven and earth, and they believed him.
