✧ From 'Ali regarding His saying, Exalted be He: {O you who believe, do not be like those who hurt Moses, and Allah cleared him of what they said} [Al-Ahzab 69]. He said: Moses and Aaron went up the mountain, and Aaron died. The Children of Israel said to Moses: "You killed him; he was more loving to us than you and gentler to us than you." So they hurt him in that. Allah commanded the angels, and they carried him and passed him by the gatherings of the Children of Israel until they knew of his death, and they buried him. None knew his grave except the vultures, and Allah made them deaf and dumb.
