✧ From the Prophet ﷺ regarding His saying, Exalted is He: “And he will be given to drink from purulent water, which he will gulp” [Ibrahim 17]. He said: It is brought near to him, and he loathes it. When it is brought close to him, it scorches his face and the skin of his head falls off. When he drinks it, it cuts through his intestines until it comes out of his backside. God says: “And they will be given boiling water to drink, and it will cut their intestines” [Muhammad 15]. And God, Exalted is He, says: “And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass, which scalds the faces. Wretched is the drink” [Al-Kahf 29].
