✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to care for the Ansar, visit them, and ask about them. It reached him about a woman of the Ansar whose son had died, and she had no other child, and that she grieved for him with severe grief. The Prophet ﷺ came to her and commanded her to fear Allah and be patient. She said: O Messenger of Allah, I am a barren woman who does not give birth, and I had no other child. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The barren one is she whose child remains alive.” Then he said: “There is no Muslim man or Muslim woman who has three children die, except that Allah admits them to Paradise because of them.” Umar said: O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, and two? He said: “And two.” Sahih isnad, but they did not record it with the mention of the barren one.
