   " رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَهِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مُعَلَّقَةٌ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا سَقَطَتْ "، قَالَ: وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: " وَلَا تُحَدِّثْ بِهَا إِلَّا حَبِيبًا أَوْ لَبِيبًا

   ✧ "The dream of a believer is one of forty parts of prophethood, and it is suspended on the leg of a bird as long as it is not related. When it is related, it falls." He said: And I think he said: "Do not relate it except to a beloved or a wise person."

   قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ يُحْيِي اللهُ الْمَوْتَى ؟ قَالَ: أَمَا مَرَرْتَ بِوَادٍ مُمْحِلٍ ثُمَّ مَرَرْتَ بِهِ خَضِرًا، قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " فَكَذَلِكَ النُّشُورُ "، أَوْ قَالَ: كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِي اللهُ الْمَوْتَى

   ✧ I said: O Messenger of God, how does God bring the dead to life? He said: Have you not passed by a barren valley, then passed by it green? He said: Yes. He said: "Thus is the resurrection," or he said: "Thus does God bring the dead to life."

   قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أُمِّي كَانَتْ تَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ وَتَفْعَلُ وَتَفْعَلُ، وَمَاتَتْ مُشْرِكَةً ! فَأَيْنَ هِيَ ؟ قَالَ: " هِيَ فِي النَّارِ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَأَيْنَ أُمُّكَ ؟ قَالَ: أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ أُمُّكَ مَعَ أُمِّي

   ✧ I said: O Messenger of God, my mother maintained family ties and did such and such, but she died a polytheist! Where is she? He said: "She is in the Fire." He said: I said: O Messenger of God, where is your mother? He said: "Are you not content that your mother be with my mother?"

   قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ ! قَالَ: حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ أَوِ اعْتَمِرْ

   ✧ I said: O Messenger of God, my father is an old man who cannot perform Hajj or Umrah or travel! He said: Perform Hajj on behalf of your father or Umrah.

   " ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ قُنُوطِ عِبَادِهِ وَقُرْبِ غِيَرِهِ "، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَيَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ؟ ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: نَعَمْ "، فَقَالَ: لَنْ نَعْدَمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا

   ✧ Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, laughs at the despair of His servants and the nearness of His relief. I said: 'O Messenger of God, does the Lord, Blessed and Exalted, laugh?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Yes.' He said: 'We will never be deprived of good from a Lord who laughs.'

   كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُسْأَلَ، فَإِذَا سَأَلَهُ أَبُو رَزِينٍ أَعْجَبَهُ. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيْنَ كَانَ رَبُّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ؟ قَالَ: كَانَ فِي عَمَاءٍ، مَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَاءٌ وَمَا تَحْتَهُ هَوَاءٌ، ثُمَّ خَلَقَ الْعَرْشَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ disliked being asked, but when Abu Razin asked him, he was pleased. He said: I said: 'O Messenger of God, where was our Lord, Mighty and Majestic, before He created the heavens and the earth?' He said: 'He was in a cloud, above which was no air and below which was no air. Then He created the Throne upon the water.'

   قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كُلُّنَا يَرَى رَبَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ ؟ قَالَ: أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَرَى الْقَمَرَ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ ؟ "، قُلْتُ: بَلَى. قَالَ: " فَاللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعْظَمُ

   ✧ I said: 'O Messenger of God, will each of us see his Lord on the Day of Resurrection?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'What is the sign of that in His creation?' He said: 'Do you not each see the moon when it is alone with it?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'God, Mighty and Majestic, is greater.'
