حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعَ بْنَ عُدُسٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَهِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مُعَلَّقَةٌ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا، فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا سَقَطَتْ "، قَالَ: وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: " وَلَا تُحَدِّثْ بِهَا إِلَّا حَبِيبًا أَوْ لَبِيبًا

✧ "The dream of a believer is one of forty parts of prophethood, and it is suspended on the leg of a bird as long as it is not related. When it is related, it falls." He said: And I think he said: "Do not relate it except to a beloved or a wise person."
