أخبرنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ

«إِذَا كَانَ الْوَرَثَةُ مَحَاوِيجَ فَلَا أَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يُرَدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ» قَالَ يَحْيَى «فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلْأَوْزَاعِيِّ فَأَعْجَبَهُ»
