✧ Usamah used to ride to some property of his in Wadi al-Qura and fast on Mondays and Thursdays while traveling. So I said to him: Why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays while traveling, when you have grown old and weak, or become thin? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, and he said: "Indeed the deeds of people are presented on Monday and Thursday."
