✧ I acquired a piece of land from the land of Khaybar. I said: O Messenger of Allah, I acquired a piece of land and I have never acquired wealth dearer to me than it, nor more precious in my estimation. He said: If you wish, you may give it as charity and keep its principal. He said: So Umar gave it as charity on condition that it is not sold, nor given as a gift, for the poor, the near relatives, the guest, the slaves, and the wayfarer. There is no blame on the one who administers it to eat from it in a reasonable manner, without accumulating wealth.
