Taking Ghusl (bath) And the precepts regarding Sexual Impurity
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يُقْرِئُنَا اَلْقُرْآنَ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ جُنُبًا } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَهَذَا لَفْظُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيِّ وَحَسَّنَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّان َ <sup>1</sup>.
Translation
Narrated ‘Ali (rad): The Prophet (saw) used to teach us the Qur’an except when he was in a state of sexual impurity. [Reported by Ahmad and Al-Arba’a. This is the version of At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair). And Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound)].
