✧ Abu Sa'id, the freed slave of 'Abdullah b. 'Amir, from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَ: نَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ كُرَيْزٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

لا تَنَاجَشُوا، وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا، وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا، وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا، وَلَا يَبِعْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ، وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا، الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ؛ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ، وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ، وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ، التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا - يُشِيرُ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ -، كُلُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَامٌ دَمُهُ وَعِرْضُهُ، حَسْبُ امْرِئٍ أَنْ يَحْقِرَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ

✧ Do not bid against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not envy one another, and let none of you sell over the sale of another. Be, O servants of God, brothers. The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim: he does not wrong him, does not forsake him, and does not despise him. Piety is here — pointing to his chest. All of a Muslim is inviolable to a Muslim: his blood and his honor. It is enough evil for a man to despise his Muslim brother.
